A little girl lost her life yesterday, this piece of news should be a wake up call for all those who think the H1N1 flu is not serious. Yes, she suffered from other illnesses but she still passed away due to the flu, not for hepatitis. She could have lived a little bit longer if she wasn't infected.
So for all those people who should be quarantined please do so. And all the parents who despise listening to their children bitching and moaning about being bored at home, ignore their pleas and think of their life.
As for masks, I'm all for it but if you actually listen to the radio the other day, officials from MOH explained that wearing a mask does not protect a person from the flu. The mask must be used by the infected person in order for them to not spread their own flu but if a healthy person wears a mask and an infected person does not wear one the flu will still be spread.
I was actually going to write something uplifting but somehow the mood has left me and now I only feel sad and demotivated. Gosh the hormones really can be a bitch huh. Well since I already told Melly, Afta and zee about it I'm going to post it here.
I will be expecting a Baby Boy on the 19th of September 2009.
